I used to use a multi-attachment gas powered edger (with swap out stems for the blower and weed-whacker). The always “ON” power in the B&D edger is far superior to what the gas powered one could do.
When it’s not wet – watch out this thing is awesome! I also used this to edge around my garden and my trees so I could put more mulch in. It took one time to get the hang of it. A gas one would be more convenient, but for price I am ok with it. Good & handy Tool – The price could have been more competitive for what it does. This is a great machine.
The Edge Hog by Black and Decker worked very well for me. I had several years of thick over growth around my driveway, and this thing just tore through it. The lawn had a bit of overgrowth over the concrete and that requires a little more attention and care. I recommend it highly.
You may only need this edger once or twice a year, but it takes the drudgery out of what used to be a dreaded chore. Last year, I needed this!
